Home Made Frames
If you shoot your pictures with a DSLR cameria then you know how hard it is to buy a frame for that size picture. You could always crop your pictures to fit a standed frame, but I have a better ideal, build your own frames. Thats what I have been doing and it's really not that hard. Here is how I build a single 8 x 12 picture frame.
Cut the inside frame 9 1/4 x 13 1/4
Cut the outside frame 12 3/16 x 16 3/16
Buy a 8 x 12 plastic frame
Stain all the parts
Screw the plastic frame into your frame
Nail 2 picture hooks on the back
Here is another frame I made. It's three 8 x 12 pictures side by side
Here is a wall collage I made for my den
Cut a piece of 1/2" wood to 11 3/4 x 15 3/4 for the pictures base
